Privacy policy

When you personalize StarSpoken delivery, we collect your email address, optional first name, selected cadence and interests, device timezone, preferred delivery hour, subscription status, source, and consent timestamp. If you provide a birthday, we store only the month and day—not a birth year—to determine your Sun sign and reading segment. Standard hosting logs may include IP address, browser, device, requested pages, and timestamps.

When you submit an experience to Ask StarSpoken, the description, selected sign and feeling, question, and any follow-up are sent securely to OpenAI’s API to generate the requested interpretation. StarSpoken does not write that experience or the resulting reading to its subscriber database, and the API request is configured not to store the response for model processing history. Avoid submitting information you do not want processed for this purpose.

We use this information to operate the website, honor subscriptions, send requested content, prevent abuse, understand site performance, and comply with legal obligations. Email address and optional first name are shared with Brevo for subscriber management and delivery. StarSpoken keeps horoscope preferences in its own subscriber database. We do not sell personal information.

Every StarSpoken delivery provides a private link to change frequency, update interests, or unsubscribe. You may withdraw consent at any time.

We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the stated purposes. No online system can guarantee absolute security, but reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used.
